CINEMA HERITAGE & AFTERNOON TEA

At its height there were in excess of 18 cinemas operating in Blackpool. There was a huge variety of buildings, styles and content making the town a picture-goers' paradise.

Our guides will introduce you to Blackpool's cinema history and this includes:
 

  • a walking tour visiting the sites of iconic cinemas

  • a history of cinema heritage in Blackpool including the recent refurbishment of the Regent Cinema

  • a delicious afternoon tea at the Regent Cinema

Please be aware that afternoon tea is served on the first floor of the Regent Cinema, which is not currently accessibility-friendly.

Tours last for approximately 2 hours. 
All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Whilst the walking tour is accessibility-friendly, please be aware that the afternoon tea can only be accessed via a staircase.
