Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of heritage and culture. Across the country, thousands of heritage venues take part, opening their doors and providing a variety of heritage events, free of charge. For Blackpool, the event is an opportunity to explore and showcase the town’s extraordinary and eclectic history, uncovering unique local stories and hidden treasures.

Heritage Open Days 2020 Update

Sadly we will not be able to offer our usual events for Heritage Open Days this year due to the ongoing situation.

However, from the 16th-20th September we will be offering people the chance to explore Blackpool's heritage from the comfort of their own home.

We will be using our social media to celebrate past Heritage Open Days, offer digital talks and tours highlighting different aspects of Blackpool's heritage including this years theme of Hidden Nature; and be sharing content from many of our local partners.

Keep an eye on our social media for more details.
