Each September venues across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast celebrate their heritage and bring it to life with a selection of tours, talks and exhibitions.
Heritage Open Days is England’s largest free cultural festival and give us the opportunity to embrace our eclectic heritage, uncover our hidden histories and explore our architectural gems.

The Roberts family will be on hand to chat about the history of Bispham’s oldest house. Learn about the stars that stayed at Bispham Court over the summer seasons between 1949 & 1984; browse photographs, newspaper articles and view their unique patio with signatures of the stars.

St Annes Church
St Annes Road East, Lytham St Annes, FY8 3BB
St Annes-on-Sea Parish Church, built in 1873, was one of the first buildings in the new town of St Annes and gave the town its name. In 1890 the tower was added and fitted with a fine peal of 8 bells, which ring out every Sunday. Heritage Open Day provides an opportunity to view our fine church with its WW1 Memorial Chapel and to see the famous St Annes Heritage Mural, which tells the story of St Annes –on-Sea from 1873 to the present day.
