STANLEY PARK & COCKER TOWER

NOW INCLUDES REFRESHMENTS IN THE HISTORICAL 'PARKS' ART DECO CAFE

Opened in 1926 by the Earl of Derby, Stanley Park continues to impress visitors offering a wonderful blend of architecture, recreation, nature and tranquility. Winner of the 2019 Fields in Trust ‘UK’s Best Park’ award, this celebrated landmark is a masterpiece of landscape design and the backdrop to many local events and festivals. Discover the heritage of Stanley Park on this tour, which includes a presentation on the history and development of the park and the rare opportunity to climb the Cocker Clock Tower.

 

Please note the stairs at the Cocker Clock Tower are steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Ticket - £8 (includes a tea or coffee and cake in the 'Parks' Art Deco Cafe)

Tours last approximately two hours. Please report to Stanley Park Visitor Centre upon arrival.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Cocker Clock Tower is not accessibility-friendly due to steep steps inside the tower.
