Heritage Open Days - Little Marton Windmill

Little Marton Windmill

Entry to all floors of the Mill, with guided tour.

Close to the M55 motorway, Little Marton Windmill is often the first site that visitors see when coming to Blackpool. Built in 1838 and spanning over three floors, you can see original 19th century machinery, learn about its history and uncover the story of one of Blackpool’s most underrated landmarks on this guided tour.

There will be a family friendly windmill making activity taking place between 11am and 2pm, run by Blackpool Heritage Service and Showtown Blackpool alongside the opening of the mill.

  • Partial wheelchair access on ground floor only
  • Lots of stairs and low ceilings
  • Toilets and accessible toilet on-site
  • Assistance dogs welcome
